self portrait 40(2nd ed.)

2020

emulsion of polymer and acrylic plaster on cardboard plates.

polyptych - 21 x 15 x 3 cm (each)

Unlike a traditional figurative portrait, my self-portraits subjectify relations about how I see and feel in front of a society permeated by prejudice and segregation. The work suggests a reflection about the “non-place” of the mixed, brown-colored figure and my personal search for “identity re-knowledge”.
